Enchanted Winter Porter

This year, the letter from Saku that landed on Father Christmas’s desk wasn’t a plea for a doll or some techy gadget, but for something altogether more particular. A fresher, more striking iteration of our already beloved Pühade Porter.

The elves in our packaging design unit got to work and through their devotion the new Winter Porter was born.

A package is worth a thousand words and our Winter Porter, well, it had a story to tell. Before jumping into bottles, Saku’s Christmas brew had a chance to rest on American oak chips, giving it a certain kind of forest-like depth, amplifying the already full-bodied structure. Accompanied by the resonant echoes of roasted coffee and vanilla on the palate.

It was, most likely, the majesty of that oak that began to sketch a beautifully still image in our collective minds. The secretive, crisp Estonian forest, and the creatures going about their business within it. A simple, elusive image that conjures the holiday spirit in every Estonian soul.

The Winter Porter stands proudly, on the wooden table of a dimly lit country farm or on the bright kitchen island of a city apartment.
Cheers to the Holidays!
