Everyone loves gingerbread, but does everyone love making it? Burnt baking sheets, a flour-covered kitchen, and collapsing gingerbread houses are the unspoken reality of the holidays. The goal of Marmiton’s Christmas campaign was to offer a delicious alternative to this chaos.
We focused on Marmiton’s legendary flower-shaped gingerbread and built the campaign on a contrast: why struggle yourself when “holidays in perfect shape” are already available in stores?
We created both static and motion assets that reinforced the brand message and connected with consumers through recognizable “Christmas fails”—whether it was the fuss of dealing with flour or the simple desire to lie on the sofa and eat enough cookies to become one. The result is a campaign that is easy for anyone to relate to.
